A Butterfly Princess Birthday Party!!

Happy Birthday to my little Princess. My little princess loves butterflies. Her bedroom is decorated in butterflies. She squeals with delight when she sees them fluttering by her. Because of this I thought it made complete sense to have a butterfly princess party for her. Afterall she is my princess.

This cute butterfly cake was so fun. After she blew out her candles she ate every single butterfly that was on this cake. It was completely destroyed, but hey that's what special birthday cakes are all about.

I decorated with lots of butterflies and fun festive girlie colors. I purchased the butterfly decorations from Michael's in the $1 section and made my sign with the help of my sister's Cricut.

This butterfly chandelier is one of my favorite Pinterest projects I have made to date. It turned out super cute and made a great decoration for the party when I hung it over the island in my kitchen. It is very feminine and whimsical. You can find detailed instructions on how to make it here.

A happy birthday girl makes it all worth it.

My Passion

I have reserrected my blog that I started years ago. I am newly inspired by all of the fabulous blogs that I have discovered through pinterest. My passion is my family and children. I juggle my life being a wife, mother and career woman. I run to stay healthy and fit. I drink wine with my husband to unwind after the kids are in bed. I love capturing pictures of my kids, creating fun crafts for my house, couponing and keeping in touch with friends I have made over the years. I believe God and strive to please Him everyday with my actions and words.

I am unsure what I will exactly do with this blog, but I hope it is a way to stay connected to friends and family about what is happening in our lives. Enjoy!

Wedding & Honeymoon

So.... I am a little behind in posting on my Blog.... the last 10 months or so have been busy... the hubby and I got married, sold a house, bought a house, and then we moved, etc.... but here are some pictures from our wedding and honeymoon in Feb 06. It is hard to believe it has been 7 months already. Life is good!!

Key West, Florida 2005

Here are Bill and I in Key West, FL. Chad and Jacquelyn travelled with us too. We visited in September 2005. We were very fortunate to miss Hurricane Katrina. In fact we didn't even know of the devastation that was taking place in New Orleans when some of these photos were taken.
We had a great time on the Key. The resort was very nice, the fishing was fun and Duval Street was GREAT! In fact... Bill might not remember one certain night when he decided to drink 151 rum shots. Crazy.
Oh.. and the sunsets were beautiful. Michigan sunsets don't even compare! All in all.. it was a great trip!
